“Destinations” A Family Vacation Making Memories: Part 1
August 29, 2015

On our visit to Tennessee, we were able to visit the Titanic Museum for the first time. I personally have always been intrigued by this historic event!

It was a kid-friendly experience; my girls are seven and eleven years old. I was very happy that they enjoyed it and really learned a lot.

When we entered the museum, they gave us a handset that we could use throughout the museum to hear pre-recorded information by holding it to our ear and entering the number at the display. There was an adult version and a separate children’s version, which focused on stories like a little boy’s lost teddy bear.

Titanic Museum Pigeon Forge {review & giveaway}

June 14th, 2015

We’ve been before and it was so good, we had to go again. The first time we went to the Titanic Museum, we had an infant with us, which made it where we had to move really quick through the museum. We didn’t feel like we got to see and do as much as we would have liked because we had to stick to the baby’s schedule. We always said we’d like to go back when the baby is older so we could spend more time. This past week, our family was in Pigeon Forge for the week and of course we had to make a stop at the Titanic Museum. This self-guided audio tour is perfect for every age family member (over the age of 4 I would recommend). My 6 year old really got into it and has since been talking about the children that were on The Titanic.

Titanic Museum Pigeon Forge

February 23rd, 2015

Driving down the Pigeon Forge Parkway, the profile of a ship suddenly comes into view. Not a surprising image in Fort Lauderdale or Miami, but in inland Pigeon Forge? Although I knew that there was a Titanic Museum in this gateway to the Smoky Mountains, I didn’t expect the museum to be a replica of the ship as I had only previously visited Titanic traveling exhibits. It was my lucky day to visit a museum dedicated to one of the most unlucky events in cruising history.
