TITANIC MUSEUM ATTRACTION TESTIMONIALS

“Outstanding!” *****

“A thoroughly enjoyable experience from start to finish. Very well organized and informative with many rare and original artifacts from Titanic. The personal audio commentary device that comes free with your ticket purchase only added to the experience. The staff was very friendly and were in the process of preparing to install a huge LEGO model of Titanic which we hope will still be on display when we return on a future trip to the museum. At the end of our tour, we found that the actual passengers listed on our boarding passes both survived the sinking. All-in-all, well worth a visit!”

“Love!!” *****

“I’m a huge titanic nerd. I love the history behind it and this museum truly captures everything about it. The staff is super into character, they know exactly what they are talking about, and all around this is a good place for children to come learn about the history of the ship.”

“Fascinating Artifacts”
*****

“Really enjoyed our visit. Nice interesting mix of live “crew”, audio, video etc but the actual artifacts from Titanic were amazing! I Was not expecting to see things that were REAL! My favorites were a wooden and cane deck chair from the debris field, a canvas and cork life jacket, carved railings from the grand staircase, and the china and silver pieces. There was a small display about the dogs that were on board, very interesting! You can only take photos at the end and you can get a picture with a large “iceberg” that is actually ice. And of course we got some great photos outside, in front, before we started. I felt it was worth the price and enjoyable for all ages.”

“Variety of experiences, enjoyed!” *****

“So much fascinating information using a variety of sensory experiences more than you can absorb in a single visit: Handheld speakers that you could go at your own pace, a channel for adults and channel for children. Quizes along the way for memory jogging (children/adult) Characters from the Titanic that speak to you about “their experiences” and answer questions. Video of underwater view of the Titanic. The wall of names of all passengers, listed by crew, first class, second class and third class then separated by survivors and those who lost their lives. Replica of the 1906 grand piano that guests can play, amazing sound! Thoroughly enjoyed!”

“Oh, if only that iceberg would have been smaller!” *****

“It was cold, but yet…I survived. The experience starts with the authenticity of dressed crew members escorting the ship guests into a well orchestrated tour of an opulent replica of the Titanic. Having a descriptive card of one of the original passengers, you will wander through the museum to find out wether or not the passenger that you represent is one of the few that survived. As you travel through the Titanic you will visit artifacts and real treasures from the actual ship. Audio equipment is provided and teaches you fun facts at numerous stop stations throughout the museum. Without giving away too much, you will not be disappointed as you feel the frigid waters and experience the true perils that the crew and guests faced as the strongest ship for its time gets defeated by a chunk of ice. Will YOU live? There is only one way you will find out. Don’t miss this attraction on your next visit to Pigeon Forge TN. My family and I have visited multiple times, and we will be back again!! Bon voyage!!”

“Pleasantly Surprised” *****

“Well, here you have it. I travel to the Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area nearly four times per year and I have never availed myself of the many tourist attractions and dinner theaters available here. I love going to the National Park. However, this August I was travelling with a friend who wanted to see the Titanic Museum. Begrudgingly I went and was I surprised. This museum I just great. People dressed in period costumes, moving from room to room gives you a new surprise each time. Reconstructed grand staircase and the bridge makes you fee you were really there. I highly recommend this be on your list of things to do in Pigeon Forge.”
